## Foundations

- [Gift buying basics: budget, price and fit](https://giftideas.fyi/academy/gift-buying-basics.md): Set a cap per person, know what each budget band buys well, and read the price on a product page the right way before you buy.

## Practitioner

- [Organize a Secret Santa or white elephant exchange](https://giftideas.fyi/academy/organize-a-gift-exchange.md): Agree the rules before the draw, draw names in secret with exclusions, run a white elephant game with a clear stealing rule, and handle the usual problems.

## Specialist

- [Evaluate gift guides, product pages and gift budgets](https://giftideas.fyi/academy/evaluate-gift-recommendations.md): Find out how a gift site makes money, test its price and review claims, and plan a yearly gift budget from your own numbers.
